External Athletics Event - Increased Footfall around HiPAC

Due to an external event on Thursday 11 June, there will be a higher footfall in and around HiPAC and the Outdoor Athletic Track and in some car parks around the site.

Leicestershire and Rutland Sport, along with Active Together, are hosting the Leicestershire and Rutland County Athletics Championships on Thursday 11 June. The event will run from 9am to 5.30pm. This event is the County Finals for the Track and Field Athletics for Leicestershire and Rutland, and will be acting as the qualifying event for the English Schools Athletics Championships.

Please be aware of the larger numbers of athletes and spectators in and around the Outdoor Track, as well as any announcements or music.

Spectators are being informed to park in Car Park 1, with any minibuses attending parking in Brockington Schofield. Please be aware that these car parks may be slightly busier than usual on this day.
