Closure of LSU Car Parks

LSU car park closure for the last event of the year.

On 10 June, LSU is holding an event ‘Last Night in Luff’. LSU would like to make all campus users aware of some temporary access changes and closures to facilitate the event.

The Students’ Union Car Parks 1 - 3 will be closed from 8 June and will remain closed until 11 June at 6am. Please note that provision of the disabled parking bays in the LSU Car Park will be provided as required up until 6pm on 10 June.

In addition to the car parks, the spaces on the road near the taxi rank up to the junction of Rutland Way will also be reserved and closed off to enable set-up, security, and safety of the event.

The through road will remain open to traffic and enable access to the rear of the building car park (nearest to the swimming pool) until 6.30pm on 10 June. After 6.30pm, there will be no further vehicle movement or access permitted past the junction point of Rutland Way and Union Way, with a road closure in place.
