Lloyds Bank Scam Email: ‘Account Access Revoked'
IT Services have been made aware of a scam email allegedly from Lloyds Bank. It has been circulating with the following subject line: ‘Account Access Revoked' or similar.
The details of the email are:
- The email will mention that your online banking service was revoked because you did not logout correctly; or you are using an outdated web browser.
- It will also include a link to restore access which goes to a phishing site;
Do not respond to these emails and delete them upon receiving. If you remain in doubt over an email contact IT Services.
