Dogs required for LSU Puppy Petting

The Welfare & Diversity section at Loughborough Students' Union (LSU) are looking for willing dog owners to help contribute to puppy petting sessions put on for students to destress. Any dogs brought in would be required for several 20/30 minute sessions and would be provided with water, snacks, toys, fresh air, and (most importantly!) love. LSU would be happy to look after the dogs for the rest of the day (or half day), allowing any staff members bringing in dogs to collect them at the end of their working day, or lunchtime.
Puppy petting sessions are held during 'Keep Calm Week' in the January exam period and again in summer. A special one-off puppy petting session is planned for Thursday 21st November in aid of Nightline Awareness Week.

Any dog owners who would be willing to help for a single session or both 'Keep Calm Weeks' should contact Matt Youngs, the Welfare & Diversity Executive Officer, via email at

Many thanks in advance for all your help!
