2 Staff Members Newly Elected to University Council

Dr Kerri Akiwowo, Lecturer, Textiles in the School of Design and Creative Arts, has been elected to Council as a member of the Senate, elected by the Senate.

Emma Nadin, PGR Administrator in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, has been elected to Council as a member of staff, other than the academic staff, elected from within their own number.

Council is the senior governing body of the University and oversees all strategic matters and setting the direction of the institution. Council members of staff are elected to govern in the interests of the University as a whole. Further information about Council can be found here. [URL BELOW]
