Support for graduates from the University Careers Network

As a Loughborough graduate, you can continue to access support from the University’s Careers Network team.

Whether you are looking for employment or further study, you can access one-to-one advice and coaching for up to five years after graduation. This includes help exploring your options, making effective applications and improving your interview performance.

Loughborough Graduate Futures support entitles you to:

  • the opportunity to receive our graduate careers newsletter, containing a range of job opportunities and events
  • a dedicated Careers Coach to work with you remotely or in-person
  • a free place on our Graduate Futures online career planning course
  • access to graduate job vacancies and the opportunity to attend employer presentations, events and careers fairs.

Register yourself for Graduate Futures support.

The Careers Network is also offering a Graduate Futures online career planning course. Consisting of two short online modules and two interactive virtual workshops, this course will help you take your next steps after graduation.

The online modules are bite-sized and contain resources to help you make career plans. At the interactive workshops, you can collaborate with new graduates who are in a similar position to you. The sessions will be led by our expert Careers Coaches who are here to support you when you leave the University.

The career planning course will help you to:

  • discover your strengths, passions and values to help you identify suitable opportunities
  • determine factors that will impact your career planning
  • explore ways of researching different careers and finding a job
  • consider how you make decisions and explore different tools
  • create an action plan, enabling you to take your next steps after graduation.

The online course will start on 19 July, with Microsoft Teams workshops taking place on the 27 July and 16 August, from 6pm-7.30pm.

A graduate who completed the course last year said: “Overall it was a very helpful and insightful course and encouraged us to approach our next steps (which can be quite daunting) with a more positive attitude.”
