Personal support during exam season

If you are looking for additional personal support during your exams, there is a range of services available to you.

If you have a disability, health or wellbeing concern that you think could affect your performance in examinations and assessments, please check your current examination support via your self-service portal. If the arrangements displayed are not what you expected, please contact studentinclusion@lboro.ac.uk immediately.

SWAI has resources available on their webpages that provide further exam support guidance, advice on improving your exam and revision skills and how to manage exam anxiety.

For information on coping with exam stress, you can read the Exam Stress Leaflet.

The LU Wellbeing App can also provide wellbeing support and is free to download. It follows a holistic approach using proven methods to positively influence your wellbeing, incorporating mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) amongst many other techniques. It is available to download on Google Play and the App Store.

Located upstairs in the EHB, the University Chaplaincy can offer quiet space for study and taking a break. Chaplains are on hand to offer emotional and spiritual support, 24 hours a day via telephone on 01509 223743.

LSU Advice can also provide independent, confidential and non-judgmental advice for students facing difficulties with their studies. They are happy to answer any questions you have and support you through a variety of University processes including academic misconduct and mitigating circumstances.

You can find more useful advice on overcoming exam stress on Student Minds and Mind webpages.

Further exam and coursework support is available on the dedicated webpage.
