A group of students together at Para Sport Take Over Week - Walking Netball

Exciting opportunity for students to lead the Para sport exec at Loughborough

Loughborough Sport are offering opportunities for two students to influence and shape the way Para sport is delivered at the University as Para Sport Chair and Para Sport Vice Chair.

Each year these two positions, along with other volunteer roles, lead the development of Para sport at Loughborough University.

These roles offer the unique opportunity for you to enhance your personal and professional skills as well as volunteering in an area you are interested in.

You will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field of Para sport including the Head of Para Sport at Loughborough University. You will also be the main point of contact for any substantial changes to the Para sport offer.

With the chance to shape your own role, this is a fantastic opportunity to advocate for inclusive sport at Loughborough through networking, influencing, and leading the Para sport executive team (Para sport exec).

You can find out more information and apply for the roles on the Coach and Volunteer Academy (CVA) website:

Both roles will oversee the Para sport exec for the 2023/24 academic year.

There is no deadline to apply, however the opportunity will be withdrawn as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

For any informal enquiries, please contact Alexander Themis, Recreational Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator, at A.Themis@lboro.ac.uk.

To keep up to date with all things Para sport at Loughborough, follow the Para sport Instagram, run by the Para sport exec.
