The UCISA Diversity and Inclusion Awardseeks to recognise institutions that can demonstrate a comprehensive and long-term commitment to diversity and inclusion within their culture.

The changes implemented by the network are designed to encourage more women to apply for roles in IT, to promote career progression, and increase staff retention. 

Speaking about the shortlisting, ITS Assistant Director Matt Cook said: “It is great to see the work of the IT Women's Network, facilitated by Izabelle and Anisha, being shortlisted for the UCISA Diversity and Inclusion Award. It demonstrates the dedication that the group has made towards making IT Services a truly supportive department.”

The winners will be announced at the annual UCISA23 Leadership Conference, taking place 21 – 23 March 2023.
