In response to the increase in the cost of living, the University has put in place a number of measures to help students. These include:

  • The expansion of hardship fund arrangements - available to all students, including international students.
  • The Loughborough Students’ Union’s Student Opportunities fund which helps students with the cost of events, activities and membership fees so you can still make the most of your student experience.
  • Reduced-cost breakfasts: Cayley Dining Hall offers a £1 hot breakfast from 8am-9.30am every week day and you can get free cereal, fresh fruit and self-service hot drinks from 8.30am-10am in EHB Grill, Martin Hall Café and West Park Teaching Hub Café.

The Student Success Academy is running a number of online and in person sessions coverings topics including credit and insurance, budgeting and how to minimise the impact of the cost of living. Book onto a session.
