LGBT+ History Month: Keynote talk with Hannah and Jake Graf

Students and staff are invited to this free event from ‘the UK’s most influential LGBT+ power couple’ (Guardian), Hannah and Jake Graf.

The event will take place on 22 February, 3pm-4pm in the Stewart Mason Building, Room SMB017.

Hannah and Jake have recently documented their journey to becoming trans parents in Channel 4’s ‘Our Baby: A Modern Miracle’ and will be showing us behind the lens of what this experience was like.

Jake will share with us his experiences working as an international multi-award winning director, writer, and actor, working on films such as ‘The Danish Girl’, ‘Colette’, and the viral hit ‘Headspace’. Hannah will also give us an insight into her role as a decorated officer, reflecting on what it is like to be one of the highest-ranking trans soldiers in the British army.

Whether you are a member of the LGBT+ community, an active LGBT+ ally in the Loughborough community, or are simply interested in hearing what it is like being a working parent navigating the modern world, this event is for everyone.

Book your place.

Loughborough University is celebrating LGBT+ History Month with a range of activities from both the staff and student networks. View the full event programme.
