Students – Elevate your prospects with a bootcamp designed to maximise your career potential

To support first and second-year undergraduate students at Loughborough prepare for their future career, the Careers Network are delighted to offer a new bootcamp designed to help individuals reach their full potential.

The Elevate Your Prospects bootcamp is made up of five in-person workshops which aim to develop your skills in presenting, applying for jobs, networking, succeeding in interviews as well as understanding your values and building your resilience.

This brand new bootcamp will take place in March in the West Park Teaching Hub, and to make the most of the experience, you are strongly encouraged to attend all workshops.

The full bootcamp schedule:

Ground Floor: The Elevator Pitch – Friday 3 March, 12.30pm-2.30pm

Master the art of delivering a successful presentation and improve your interpersonal skills.

Level 1: Employability skills to give you a lift – Monday 6 March, 2pm-3.30pm

Level up your CVs, cover letters, and interview skills.

Level 2: Learn to elevate yourself – Friday 10 March, 1pm-2.30pm

Know yourself to promote yourself. Build your resilience and other key skills to develop ‘Brand You’ to wow future employers.

Level 3: Next stop - Networking and opportunities – Monday 13 March, 2pm-3.30pm
Start building successful networks and discover how to search for opportunities to enhance your career prospects.

Level 4: Next level - Practice makes perfect – Monday 20 March, 2pm-4pm

Hone in on your interview skills and make the most of this opportunity to practice your newly elevated skills.
