Library
One of our largest spaces is the University Library. From group study spaces to quiet and even silent areas, across its four Levels there’s a suitable space for your needs with a range of facilities. Some spaces are available to book in advance if you want to ensure the space you need is available for you.
Currently, the Library is operating on its normal term-time opening hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8.30am-2am
- Saturday: 9am-2am
- Sunday: 10am-2am

Learning zones
In addition to the Library, the Loughborough campus also has a variety of smaller study spaces available for use.
Our learning spaces are more informal spaces which have comfy seating and collaborative work areas. Some of these also have PCs and printing facilities and may be located close to a food and retail outlet.

- Opening times: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm - Learning at EHB (Edward Herbert Building)
- Opening times: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm - Learning Lab Haslegrave
- Facilities: Mac and PCs, collaborative tables with display screens, printing, vending facilities, group tables
- Opening times: 24/7 with swipe card access - Learning Hub Schofield
- Facilities: Collaborative work zones, group tables, comfy seating
- Opening times: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm - Learning Stop Brockington Extension
- Facilities: Collaborative work zones, group table, comfy seating, vending facilities
- Opening times: Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm - Graduate House (for Doctoral Researchers and Postgraduate students)
- Facilities: PCs, printing, group tables, food and drink facilities
- Opening times: 8pm-10pm, Monday-Sunday
IT Labs
There are over 2,000 PCs in computer labs located across the campus.
To help find the labs and software you need, we have the Computer and Software Availability online system with built-in campus maps. Many of the computer labs can be accessed by all students and some rooms have 24/7 access.
