The programme is split into two types of activities: taster craft workshops and performance nights.
Workshops have strictly limited places (for Loughborough University students only), which must be booked in advance and cost £3 each. This includes all materials (unless advertised otherwise) and you'll usually make something which you can take away at the end of the night.
Performance nights are a chance for you to showcase your talents or sit back and enjoy the talents of other students. The live performance events are open to everyone but open mic slots are for Loughborough University students only. Tickets are free for students and £5 for staff/members of the public. These tickets will be on sale closer to the time of the event.
Each of these performance nights is organised by a Student Co-ordinator who is part of LU Arts’ Student Team for 2022/23. If you are interested in performing at Student Live Lounge (music) or Speech Bubble (performance poetry) then email luarts@lboro.ac.uk and we’ll pass your details on to the relevant Student Co-ordinator. Open mic slots do get booked up in advance so it’s best to express your interest beforehand rather than just turn up on the night wanting to perform.
