Calling all first and second-year students: Find out about our Micro-Internship opportunities by speaking to employers on campus and developing your skills in our networking session

To mark the official opening of the Talent Match Micro-Internship, the Careers Network is hosting an event that gives students the opportunity to meet with employers offering micro-internships at their organisations.

A micro-internship is a 50-hour paid, project-based professional work experience within an organisation. These usually last 4-8 weeks and are designed to be flexible around your studies and any extra-curricular activities you might be involved in.

The upcoming event will be a chance to learn more about the opportunities employers are offering this year, where you can gain a better understanding of what the internship would involve and the type of experience it will provide you with. Internships are a great way to build experience during your time at university and demonstrate your skillset to future employees.

The event takes place on Tuesday 1 November from 4pm-6pm and will be held in the James France Exhibition Space on the Loughborough campus. Book your place online.

At the beginning of the event, the Careers Network will run a networking skills workshop that will provide top tips for making the most out of networking, with time to practise with one another before meeting the employers.

If you’ve not already registered access to view and apply for our Talent Match Micro-Internships, you can still sign up prior to the event.
