RTE Academic Promotion Review

All members of academic staff are invited to provide comments and feedback on the RTE Promotions Processes and Criteria discussed last week at Senate.

This can be done via a Microsoft Form, which contains:

  • a link to the latest versions of the draft documents in Academic Promotion Process and Criteria (read-only access for all University staff)
  • four short questions, for text-based responses to (a) the principles and substantive changes discussed at Senate and (b) any other aspects of the draft documents

We would be grateful to receive comments by 30 November 2022.  Thereafter, we will prepare final versions of the process and criteria documents, for approval at UEB, ARSNC, HRC, Senate and Council in Jan-Mar 2023.

In order to support the Equality Impact Assessment for the proposed changes, a number of focus groups have taken place with colleagues with different protected characteristics. We are holding a focus group for colleagues who have a disability on 1 December at 11am. If you would like to participate in this focus group, please contact Dina Lagou, Senior HR Officer
