Family fun day led by Loughborough Students’ Union to take place this weekend

Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) is delighted to once again be holding its Community Fun Day on Sunday 15 May, from 12pm-4pm.

LSU has previously held the event on an annual basis with the help of student volunteers who assist with the organisation beforehand and provide on the day support.

The day is set to be a fun-filled occasion with a wide variety of activities including face painting, fair rides, and community and student performances.

They’ll also be a range of stalls, games and arts and crafts such as bracelet and bookmark making to get stuck into as well.

Admission to the event and most of the activities available will be free of charge, making it an inexpensive and fun day for everyone in the local community.

The event will be held on the Hazlerigg-Rutland Lawn and outside the Students’ Union Building. If weather conditions are poor the event will be held inside the Students' Union building.
