Helping you to raise your research profile: Social media workshops

As part of a wider project to raise the profile of the research and innovation that staff are undertaking at the University, we have commissioned an organisation called The Brand Education to deliver two social media training workshops, aimed at academic staff, in March.

The workshops are designed to equip you with the practical techniques and learnings you require, so you are able to confidently raise awareness of your own work, increase citations and raise your profile through the use of social media. The workshops will feature speakers both from outside of the sector, providing an expert perspective to using social media for research purposes, as well as some of the University’s own academics who are utilising social media to raise awareness of their research.

If you would like to attend but have not yet registered, please complete this form, selecting the workshop you would like to attend:

Social Media Training for Researchers - Beginners’ Session

For academics who are new to social media or are beginning their social journey

Social Media Training for Researchers - Advanced Session

For academics who are regular or advanced users of social media
Wednesday 23 March 2022, 12.30pm-2.30pm

You will then be sent joining instructions for the Teams workshop.
