Lightning rugby stars gear up for Women’s Six Nations

Loughborough Lightning will have thirteen players representing their country on the international stage as the Tiktok Women's Six Nations gets underway on Saturday 26 March.

Scotland host England in the Championship curtain-raiser live on BBC Two (KO 12 noon) with the Red Roses looking to emulate their Grand Slam titles from 2019 and 2020.

The match at Edinburgh’s DAM Health Stadium will see Lightning teammates on opposing sides as Leah Bartlett, Christine Belisle, Emma Wassell, Rachel Malcolm (captain), Jenny Maxwell, Helen Nelson, and Megan Gaffney are all expected to feature for the home side.

England will call upon Loughborough’s Lark Davies, Detysha Harper, Sarah Hunter (captain), Sadia Kabeya, Helena Rowland, and the returning Emily Scarratt as all eyes will be on the Scotland capital.

The Women's Six Nations Rugby Championship features England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales and will take place between March 26 – 30 April 2022.
