Upcoming wellbeing sessions for students

We know for some people, January can be a challenging month. The Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity team have a host of workshops and support sessions taking place throughout the month which students are encouraged to attend. More information about the events can be found below.

Five Ways to Wellbeing

The team are holding a number of sessions to support students who are currently in isolation. During these sessions, we will talk about simple actions that you can follow, regardless of whether you have mental health problems or are looking to improve your overall wellbeing. In addition, useful resources such as Togetherall and the LU Wellbeing app will be discussed.

They will take place online via MS Teams on the following dates:

Other upcoming wellbeing sessions

The group is for any BAME* student at Loughborough University who would like to meet others. The group meets on the last Wednesday of every month and aims to be a peer support group to meet others, prevent isolation, promote connections and share topics (as well as getting out and about in the outdoors!). The group is facilitated by a member of the Duty, Assessment and Inclusion (DAI) team.

*The team recognise the problematic terminology of the term ‘BAME’ and understand it does not replace the immense diversity and distinct ethnic identities of each individual.
