Five Ways to Wellbeing
The team are holding a number of sessions to support students who are currently in isolation. During these sessions, we will talk about simple actions that you can follow, regardless of whether you have mental health problems or are looking to improve your overall wellbeing. In addition, useful resources such as Togetherall and the LU Wellbeing app will be discussed.
They will take place online via MS Teams on the following dates:

Trans and Non-Binary Support Group: 19 January, 4pm-5pm
A safe and confidential space for students to share their feelings, talk about their experiences and receive support, advice and guidance from the facilitator and other students.
Reigniting your spark: 20 January, 3pm-4.30pm
A group session that will discuss how to tackle low motivation and increasing activity levels to create a balance and routine, as well as how to maintain this.
The group is for any BAME* student at Loughborough University who would like to meet others. The group meets on the last Wednesday of every month and aims to be a peer support group to meet others, prevent isolation, promote connections and share topics (as well as getting out and about in the outdoors!). The group is facilitated by a member of the Duty, Assessment and Inclusion (DAI) team.
*The team recognise the problematic terminology of the term ‘BAME’ and understand it does not replace the immense diversity and distinct ethnic identities of each individual.
