Scene from the stage production of Belle Sauvage

Don’t miss National Theatre Live’s next screening on campus

Phillip Pullman’s The Book of Dust – La Belle Sauvage is showing at Cope Auditorium on 17 February, 7pm.

If you’re a fan of The Golden Compass, Harry Potter or The Chronicles of Narnia, you will love this stage adaptation of Phillip Pullman’s book, set twelve years before his epic trilogy, His Dark Materials.

Adapted by Bryony Lavery and directed by Nicholas Hytner, the story follows two young people and their dæmons as they find themselves at the centre of a terrifying manhunt. In their care is a tiny child called Lyra Belacqua and, in that child, lies the fate of the future.

The production will be broadcast live from London’s Bridge theatre.

Tickets are £10 for staff and members of the public and £5 for students, which makes these the cheapest NT Live screenings in the area! You can book your tickets in advance online or pay on the door using cash or card (subject to availability).
