How does this affect me?
From 8am on 23 August there will be some disruption to the eduroam Wi-Fi and wired networks while the work is being carried out.
Staff and students accessing services through these networks will be affected, this includes remote desktop connections to local devices.
We recommend that colleagues work remotely or from an alternate location during this time.
Following the upgrade, if you have previously connected a personal laptop or computer to the wired network, you will be required to register your device to connect to the new network – please visit the Network 2020 project webpage ‘Post upgrade’ tab for further instructions.
