The micro-internship scheme is part of the Network’s Talent Match programme, which helps students to secure short-term, high-level work experience.
The project is looking to support Part A and B students to gain vital work experience and develop key skills to support their employability prospects upon graduating, as the graduate recruitment market continues to be extremely competitive each year.
These internal internships are designed to be 40 hours in length and can be spread across a number of weeks, which will be arranged with the student. The Careers Network recommends the internships last between 4-8 weeks to help students manage both work and study.
The Careers Network will provide funding of up to £426 to support the 40 hours of work, which equates to an hourly rate of £10.65 per hour.

In addition, the Careers Network will support by advertising the opportunity to students, identifying ideal applicants, and organising interviews if required.
