This change is to help staff and students identify emails that have been sent from outside of the University and will help in identifying spam and phishing emails.

Therefore, from Monday 11 October, any email received by the University which has been sent from an external email address will have a header added to the top of the email body with the following text:

**THIS MESSAGE ORIGINATED FROM OUTSIDE LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSITY** Be wary of links or attachments, especially if the email is unsolicited or you don’t recognise the sender's email address.
