LSUTV NaSTA 2021 winners

LSUTV recognised at the 2021 National Student Television Awards

The student-run television network, LSUTV, claimed four awards at the annual National Student Television Awards.

LSUTV won the Best Sport category for their ‘Match Report’ series, which included live coverage of the IMS Hockey Super Series and the Premier 15s Rugby, and station member, Rosa Serret, won the coveted Best On-Screen Talent award.

The station was also highly commended for Best Documentary and Factual category for their documentary Bounceback about the Loughborough Basketball team, produced by James Bostock, Robbie Reilly, and Hannah McCann. 

The documentary on 2020 LSU Exec Elections was also highly commended for Best Post-Production.

Station Manager 2020-21, Ben Cooke said: “LSUTV had a fantastic 2020, despite some challenges. Having worked throughout Covid-19 to keep the Loughborough Family's spirits up, we are really pleased to have been recognised for the work we've done. Being able to showcase the best parts of Loughborough is such a privilege.”

LSU Media Chair 2020-21, Cameron Glenwright added: “It’s fantastic to see the thousands of hours that our amazing volunteers have put into these projects pay off."
