The New University Strategy – Staff Briefing Sessions

Led by the Provost, three staff briefing sessions on the new University Strategy have been organised to share current thinking and to seek views from all staff to help inform the next stage of the development of the strategy.

A broad strategic framework was endorsed by Senate on 10 March 2021 and approved by Council on 16 March 2021. The Provost will present this framework to colleagues with the aim of raising awareness of the work so far and to facilitate engagement with staff from all job families across the campus.

A Q&A session will follow the presentation giving those staff attending an opportunity to feedback and comment on the outlined strategy, helping to shape the next steps.

To make the strategy a success, it is essential that views are gathered from a range of colleagues from across the University. Colleagues are encouraged to attend one of the three sessions to learn about the new strategy and gain a greater understanding of the University’s ambitions for the future.
