Student Services has a webpage dedicated to self-help resources – please note that some of the guidance contains sensitive information that may be triggering for some.
Self-help guides:
Support services:
- Harmless
- Mind
- Togetherall (available to students only)
- Employee Assistance Programme (available to staff only)
Apps:
- The Loughborough Wellbeing app
- My Healthy Advantage app – this has a live chat function if needed
A butterfly campaign will also be run on the HeadsUp Twitter page to mark the day. People draw a butterfly on themselves, create a butterfly badge or wear something with butterflies on to:
- Raise awareness of support services
- Support those who have experienced self injury in the past
- Reduce the stigma surrounding self injury to encourage those who experience it to seek help
You can share photos of your butterflies using the hashtag #SIAD and tagging @lboroheadsup.
