Leveraging male allies: together we are stronger

The Women’s Higher Education Network (WHEN) is hosting an online event on Tuesday 23 March at 2pm, looking at the topic of male allyship, with speakers from Loughborough University – Dr Manuel Alonso and Professor Andy Dainty.

Dr Alonso is the University’s Associate Chief Operating Officer and Director of Student Services, and Professor Dainty is the Dean of the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering.

Together they will provide personal reflections on why gender equality is important to them and share tips for being an advocate and ally.

WHEN is dedicated to equity of opportunity for women in higher education. The network helps women* achieve their ambitions and works with institutions to remove systemic and cultural barriers.

The event is open to everyone and you can register your interest here.

*WHEN is inclusive of trans women and non-binary people who are comfortable in a female-centred community
