Everything you need to know: Accommodation

There are multiple teams that help to ensure your time in halls is enjoyable and safe.

The Student Accommodation Centre Team can assist with any questions about living on or off campus.

Each hall has its own wardens and subwardens to support you with any queries or problems you may have to ensure you are living in an enjoyable environment.

The Hall Management Team ensure your health, safety and security are at the forefront of what they do. They are responsible for:

  • Coordinating day to day cleaning and maintenance in your room/flat
  • Working closely with the Warden and committee to provide a seamless 24-hour support service
  • Distributing small post items like letters (parcels are collected from the Post and Parcels office located on the bottom-floor of the Herbert Manzoni building)

Contact details for your Hall Management Team can be found on your Halls of Residence page.

Residents in halls are required to report any damage or fault within 24 hours of becoming aware of it. More details of how you can report a problem are available here.

The cleaning services offered to you will be dependent on which hall you live in. You will be advised of your regular cleaning day by your Hall Manager. For more information about cleaning in halls of residence take a look at our accommodation website.

There are also several laundrettes on campus for our students living in Halls. More information about laundry facilities can be found here
