Everything you need to know: The Medical Centre

It’s important to register at the Medical Centre on campus so that you have access to all NHS services during your time at Loughborough.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic makes the access to medical services more important.

The Medical Centre together with NHS partners are promoting registration at the Medical Centre and information about how to register, what to expect, the services you will be able to access at the Medical Centre and locally is on the website.

There is also information and useful links about Covid-19, confidentiality, support services at the University and most importantly how to register online.

The NHS app allows you to access a range of services including:

  • Booking appointments
  • Viewing your medical record
  • Ordering repeat prescriptions
  • Checking symptoms
  • Finding up to date coronavirus advice

The Medical Centre is based in the centre of the University campus, making it easy to access the surgery should you need it. Please ensure you wear a mask when you visit, unless exempt.

It is open from 8am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, you can call NHS 111 for urgent medical advice or attend the Loughborough Urgent Care Centre.

You can contact the Centre on 01509 277577 or by emailing med.centre@lboro.ac.uk.

More information can be found on their website.
