Item of sentimental value taken from local garden

An item of sentimental value has been taken from the garden of a property close to the Loughborough campus, and its owner has appealed for information and a safe return.

The item is a model of the Carillon, a local landmark in Queen’s Park.  It was on a plinth in the front of the garden of a property on the corner of Epinal Way and Forest Road.

This house is well known in the community for its impressive garden that is full of flowers at all times of the year. The model was a gift to a gentleman who lived in the house who passed away in 2018.

There is no evidence who has stolen it, but if any student has the item they are encouraged to return it.
