Researchers, industry specialists and investors with an interest in Central Asia will be attending to discuss sustainable development and innovation. Key themes will include renewable energy, space technology, innovative materials, sustainable education and institutions, as well as peace and justice.
The forum is expecting high profile attendees including senior figures from the Kazakhstan government and ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Loughborough’s Associate Pro Vice Chancellor (Doctoral College), Professor Elizabeth Peel will open the forum.
This event is part of Loughborough’s commitment to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, an agreement that was signed earlier this year.
