The Energy 100 Scheme encourages people to work together to see how the Midlands can establish the world’s first net-zero carbon industrial cluster by 2040.
There are a number of benefits for students involved in the scheme including:
- Learning how to develop problem-solving techniques
- Gaining experience of tackling real world problems in a multidisciplinary way
- Understanding how to collaborate in an online environment
- Increasing your network of contacts
The challenge begins with an online phase where registered participants will be invited to consider a question and respond with their ideas.
The ERA will then select participants to take part in the evaluation phase and, if successful, they will be invited to a two-day problem-solving workshop held at Loughborough on 2-3 April.
The deadline for the first phase is 28 February. Register for the challenge here.
