Students: Don’t miss the Spring Careers Fair and exclusive creative industry workshops

Next Tuesday (25 February), many organisations will be on campus offering graduate, placement and vacation opportunities for students.

The fair will be held from 11am-3pm in the Sir David Wallace Sports Hall and is one of the largest higher education careers fairs in the UK. Details of all the employers attending will be available from Friday 21 February on the Career Fair Plus app.

New for this year are a range of workshops and activities that will take place between Monday 24 February – Wednesday 26 February around campus. These include how to prepare for the Spring Careers Fair, an Enterprise Corner and for the first time, specific workshops targeted at those looking for a career in the creative industry – more information on these sessions can be found below:

Session One

12pm-1.30pm: Portfolio Surgery

Have your portfolio reviewed by the professionals and seek guidance on how to stand out at interviews. This is aimed at students studying Graphic Communication and Illustration, Product Design and Fine Art.

1pm-2.45pm: D&AD: New Blood Awards workshop

For students working on the New Blood briefs, and for those who aren’t yet but should be!
