Learn how to budget effectively with the Student Advice and Support Service

If you’re a student looking to learn more about where your money goes and how you can improve your budgeting skills, the Student Advice and Support Service have an event that can help.

Money Matters is a 90-minute session that will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge you need to take control of your money.

There are two sessions available this Thursday (27 February): 11.30am–1pm and 4pm–5.30pm, both of which will take place in the LSU Council Chamber. They are free to attend, but students are required to book their place online.

As part of National Student Money Week, the University published articles providing guidance on how you can save money during your time as a student. They cover areas including entertainment, food, shopping and travel:

Finally, don’t forget you need to reapply for student finance for each year of your course. Students can now apply for the 2020/21 academic year here.
