Students: Staying in Loughborough over the Christmas period? Check out our available study spaces during the holidays

We understand some students will be staying in Loughborough during the Christmas holidays, and with exams coming up in the New Year, we appreciate the importance of having a safe, secure and comfortable space for you to study in.

That’s why throughout the Christmas period, we will be keeping a number of our IT Labs open for 24/7 study. These will all be accessible by swiping your University ID card at the entrance.

The spaces available are as follows:

  • Haslegrave Learning Lab: Facilities include Mac and PCs, collaborative tables with display screens, printing machines, and vending machines.
  • John Cooper Labs (JCR009 and JCR009a): A combination of Macs and PCs with printing facilities.
  • West Park IT Lab (S006, located in the S Building): PCs and printing and vending facilities.

Please note the Library will close on Tuesday 22 December at 4pm and will reopen on Monday 4 January at 9am.

If you are based at our London campus, sadly the campus will remain closed throughout the holidays due to the latest government announcement about Tier 4 restrictions. The building should be able to reopen on 11 January. Please note online services including Library services will still be available.
