Reminder: Participate in the University's upcoming race equality focus groups

Following the staff Equality, Diversity and Inclusion survey that ran in March, the Race Equality Working Group is looking for colleagues from across the University to take part in focus groups to discuss race equality at Loughborough University.

The discussions which take place at the focus groups will feed into the University’s work towards our Race Equality Charter Action Plan.

The focus groups will take place in the weeks commencing 7 and 14 September, with dates and times to be confirmed.

Colleagues participating will be asked to attend one focus group, which will last approximately 1.5 hours and will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.

All information collected via the focus groups will be confidential. Please note that separate focus groups will be held for BAME staff and for white staff.

PhD students will be included in the student race equality focus groups, which will take place in February 2021.

If you’d like to express an interest in attending one of our staff focus groups, please get in touch with Emily Salmon (e.salmon@lboro.ac.uk) by Tuesday 18 August.
