Sports Bra study participants wanted

Progressive Sports Technologies is seeking female participants of any age to participate in two sports bra studies.

Each participant must bring their own running shoes, socks, shorts and t-shirt. The sports bras will be provided and as a thank you the participant will receive an Amazon voucher of at least £20.

Testing will take place in the Sports Technology Institute (Michael Pearson East), opposite SportPark.

Study 1

One female participant required, bra size 34E

Testing date: 24 September PM or anytime on 25 September

Two sessions will be involved. The first is a bra fitting session lasting approximately 15 minutes to ensure you are the correct size for the study.

If the fitting is successful, the trial will be a 1.5 hour session during which we will be comparing the performance of five different sport bras. During the testing, you will be asked to run five times for 90 seconds.

Small markers will be attached at key locations on the body and breast, allowing us to record the motion of the key body regions (markers located in sensitive areas can be placed by yourself).

Question about the comfort and support of the bras will be asked before and after the testing of each one.

Study 2

Two female participants required, bra size 32E

Testing date: anytime 25 September

Two sessions will be involved. The first is a bra fitting session lasting approximately 15 minutes to ensure you are the correct size for the study.

If the fitting is successful, the second session will involve a 3.5 hour session during which we will be comparing the performance of 13 different sport bras. During the testing, you will be asked to run 13 times for 90 seconds.

Small markers will be attached at key locations on the body and breast, allowing us to record the motion of the key body regions (markers located in sensitive areas can be placed by yourself).

Question about the comfort and support of the bras will be asked before and after the testing of each one.
