Remembering Peter Beaman

A special service celebrating the life of Peter Beaman, who sadly passed away in August, is being held on Wednesday 20 November.

Peter, who was based in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, was a much-loved colleague and friend to many at the University. His memorial service will take place at 2pm in James France and those wishing to attend are asked to register here.

For those who may require support, the University encourages you to use one of the following services:

  • The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a telephone and on-line service that complements the University’s counselling service and is available 24/7.
  • You can access the University Counselling Service by visiting the Bridgeman Centre between 8.30am and 5pm. Advisers (in the Duty Assessment and Inclusion Team) will be available to assist you.
  • The Centre for Faith and Spirituality is open for you to visit at any time for quiet reflection, prayer or to talk to one of the Chaplains.
