Pay award
The Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) has informed the higher education institutions participating in the 2019-20 New JNCHES pay round that they should implement the pay uplift offered with effect from 1 August 2019.
The advice follows the conclusion of the dispute resolution process between UCEA and the relevant unions which has regrettably not been able to reach a settlement.
UCEA’s final offer of a 1.8% uplift on base pay for spinal points 17 and above and further increases on point 16 and below will be implemented in the September pay.
