Notification of M1 works
Highways England will be carrying out maintenance work on the M1 between junction 23 to junction 23a on both the northbound and southbound carriageways.
The work is due to start on 23 September 2019 until the end of October 2019. To minimise disruption these will be carried out:
- between 9pm-5am, Saturday to Thursday (northbound carriageway)
- between 10pm-6am, Monday to Saturday (southbound carriageway)
However, Highways England has advised that some Sunday shifts may be necessary.
Diversion routes will be signposted when carriageways are closed.
