Music tuition available to staff and students

Music lessons will be available to staff members and students again this academic year.

Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced musician, lessons can be tailored for a range of instruments and singers.

Tuition is available for singing, piano, violin, viola, cello, brass, clarinet, saxophone and flute.

The cost of tuition is £200 for students and £240 for staff. These prices are based on musicians receiving eight hours of tuition per semester.

Lessons will take place in the music practice rooms, which are located in the Martin Hall Building and the rear of the Cope Auditorium (Edward Barnsley Building).

Please note pianos are available in the music practice rooms but all other instruments will need to be acquired by yourself. Lessons are subject to the availability of the tutors and must be booked at the start of each semester; ideally by the second week of term in order to ensure availability and allow enough time to fit in eight hours of lessons within the semester. If you would like to take up music tuition or find out more, then please get in touch by emailing LUArts@lboro.ac.uk.
