Brexit preparations: Eversheds briefings for EU/EEA staff

As part of the preparations for Brexit, the University has arranged two briefings for EU/EEA members of staff by law firm Eversheds Sutherland on issues relating to residency and immigration.

The sessions, entitled Brexit and Free Movement, will take place on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 from 9.15am-12.30pm and from 1.30pm-5pm. Both events will take place in the School of Business and Economics, Sir Richard Morris Building, room BE.064.

Areas covered at the sessions will include pre-settled and settled status and the application process; what happens if there is a ‘no deal’; and European Temporary Leave to Remain.

If you would like to book a space on one of these sessions, please email Organisational Development before 11 October 2019.

A paper outlining key issues raised by a no-deal Brexit and the mitigation available to staff, students and the University as whole has now been added to the University’s Brexit web pages.
