Age Matters – invitation to join a focus group

There are certain times in your working life when your age can be a big factor in your career plans, life choices and relationships with colleagues.

For example, when you are just starting out and perhaps getting accustomed to work – or when you are coming towards the end of your working life and thinking about what will happen next.

As part of a strategy to re-energise all staff groups, colleagues in HROD are relaunching the age group under the banner ‘Age Matters’ – and we would like to hear from you.

A short series of focus groups will run in October to find out what people think we should be focusing on for younger and older colleagues. If you would like to pop in and join the discussion, please go to my.HR to book your place, and we look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Each focus group will run for a maximum of 1.5 hours and you are welcome to join for all or part of the session. Light refreshments will be available.

Tuesday 1 October  - two focus groups to discuss how we can support younger colleagues, starting at 1.30pm and 3.30pm in Rutland 1.13a.

Friday 25 October  -  two focus groups to discuss how we can support older colleagues, starting at 9.30am and 11.30am in Rutland 1.13a.
