Staff and students invited to an artisan tea-tasting
The Martin Hall café will be hosting a tea tasting event on 23 October, 10am-11am.
Students and staff are welcome to come and sample a selection of loose leaf black, white and green teas. These have been sourced from high quality tea supplier Adagio Teas.
Tasters will have the chance to vote for their favourite teas and the most popular will be made available in the Coffee Houses across campus.
Stephen Ashurst has worked with the University’s Catering team to organise the event.
He said: “Having seen the great coffee now available at the University food and drink outlets, there did not seem to be an equivalent available for tea-drinkers.
“Being a lover of tea myself and having reasonable knowledge of artisan tea, I wanted to help introduce a better selection of teas for the University to enjoy.”
