Reminder: Multi-factor authentication starts next month
Multi-factor authentication will begin rolling out to all staff members and postgraduate researchers in the first two weeks of December.
MFA is an additional layer of security which will be used for those who access the VPN and off-campus web services to protect users' IT accounts.
In preparation for this, you will be required to download and install Duo Mobile on your device before the rollout to ensure you can access the services.
A dedicated website about the initiative has been created which is available to view here. The website has more information about how to install the app, contact advice for any queries you might have as well as FAQs.
Details of when your Department or School can start using the service can be found online as well.
