‘Imprint: A Response to Cathy’ Exhibition

From 28 November-12 December, ‘Imprint: A Response to Cathy’ will be featuring artwork by Loughborough graduate artists Jordan Page and Rebecca Wymark (Fine Art, 2018).

The exhibition, taking place in the Martin Hall Building, is the outcome of a research fellowship with the British Council, where the artists have taken influence from the work of Cathy Wilkes at the Venice Biennale.

Rebecca’s work uses hands-on processes of plaiting, sewing, tearing and cutting to draw upon fragments of the domestic, while Jordan’s work explores the complexities of family dynamics in the modern age using contrasting objects.

The exhibition's opening evening will be taking place on 26 November from 6pm-8pm.
