Loughborough recognises Mental Health Awareness Week with day of events

Research cited by the Mental Health Foundation found that mental health problems are one of the leading causes of sickness absence in the workplace, with over 70 million work days lost each year in the UK.

To tackle this, teams from across the University have come together for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week to host a range of events aimed at improving staff member's wellbeing. These will take place today (Monday 13 March) and will be based at the West Park Teaching Hub.

There will be a University Services exhibition which will include stands representing the Centre for Faith and Spirituality, Sports Development Centre, Occupational Health, Campus Living and the Sustainability team.
