Staff member recognised as one of the top 100 payroll leaders

Julie Ball, Payroll and Pensions Manager at Loughborough University, has been recognised as one of the top leaders in payroll by The Reward 300.

Sponsored by Cintra HR and Payroll, the Reward 300 acts as an index recognising influential individuals in the profession. The list was revealed at an exclusive event at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London this month, which also marked its tenth anniversary.

The award categories included employee benefits experts, pension professionals and HR leaders, with Julie featuring in the Top 100 Payroll Leaders.

Only three other universities featured in the list, amongst global companies such as Burberry and Coca-Cola.

Anne Lamb, Deputy Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development, said:

“We are absolutely delighted that Julie has been recognised as it evidences how well she leads in the payroll and pensions function for the University”.

Working in a department that delivers a friendly service and is a leader in its field is important to Julie and is something that she has found at Loughborough.

On winning, Julie added: “It’s amazing to achieve external recognition for the great work that’s carried out at the University.”
