Safe and Smart Mobility research networking event

A research networking event looking at safe and smart mobility is being held at the University on Monday 1 July.

Aimed at academics and early career researchers, the event will provide an opportunity for attendees to find out what work is currently taking place across the University in this area and to explore opportunities for new collaborations.

The networking event will take place at The Desmond Penrose Atrium, Stewart Miller Building on Monday 1 July from 11.30am to 1pm. Anyone interested in attending should register here.

At the event there will be a series of three-minute presentations followed by panel discussions and a networking lunch. Presentations and discussions will show the variety of research activities already taking place at Loughborough, including smart, safe and connected transport and engineering; road user factors, including health and behaviour; and computer science for smart mobility.

An interdisciplinary research group on Safe and Smart Mobility, part of the Transport Technologies Beacon, is due to be launched later this year to bring together expertise from across the Loughborough and London campuses.
